2Watch: the School League is back on Fortnite

The School League, the largest Fortnite tournament for high school students, starts again: € 3,000 prize pool.

Registration is officially open for the second edition of the School League , the Fortnite competition organized by 2Watch and dedicated to Italian high school students over 14 years of age. Not even the time to have finished the University Masters , which crowned the best university player of Fifa 22, starring personalities such as Pierluigi Pardo and Giorgio Chiellini, which 2Watch has already launched the new Fortnite tournament , created with the contribution of the sponsors Universal Pictures International Italy and Smemoranda.

How does it work

Also this year, the participants will be guided by 4 exceptional “Class Leaders” who will support the players through training sessions and will comment on all the stages of the tournament. It starts on June 27th with 4 training sessions to improve in-game skills before facing the qualifying rounds scheduled for the week of July 4th. From 18 July onwards, however, the semi-finals will be played which will offer the best 100 players access to the final on 1 August.

Training, qualifying phases, semi-finals and grand final will be broadcast live on Twitch, on the official 2WATCHtv channel and on the Everyeye.it portal, which will also dedicate a wide editorial coverage. The commentary of the matches is entrusted to the 4 class leaders, expert players of the title: the duo “VAPM” alias Alex and Eros Rossi, the streamer “Piazz” alias Andrea Piazzese, the tiktoker and Fortnite player “ManuCDN” alias Manuele Musumeci and the YouTuber “Gigi” alias Luigi Puccianti. “After the success of the first edition we have decided to offer students a new opportunity during 2022 – said Fabrizio Perrone, CEO of 2WATCH – The second edition of the 2WATCH School League aims to consolidate a modern image of gamers; young people who can help improve their future through video games. The great partners – concludes Perrone – are increasingly looking towards this world which confirms itself as one of the main communication vehicles to breach the GenZ.
