3 ministers resigned in Slovakia: Government lost majority in parliament

Regarding SAS’s departure from the government, Matovic said, “The opposition in the coalition is leaving the opposition The SAS leader is avoiding responsibility. This is cowardice. According to what they said in today’s farewell, they will make our lives hell with the mafia and fascists in the parliament. “The coming days will be difficult for everyone,” he said.

THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS 76 CHAIRS FOR THE SUPREME MAJORITY IN PARLIAMENT

In order for the government to secure a majority in the Slovakian parliament, it must have an absolute majority of 76 seats. Previously, the Slovakian government, which consisted of 4 parties and had 90 deputies, had OLANO with 47 seats, We Are the Family Party (Jsme-Rodina) with 20 seats, SAS with 20 seats and the Party for the People (Za Ludi) with 3 seats.
