Lenovo celebrates 30 years of the Thinkpad line with a valuable limited edition laptop

Lenovo’s ThinkPad series just turned 30 . To celebrate this remarkable event, Lenovo has made an exclusive version of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 . An extremely limited edition product: only 5,000 units will be produced and of these 1,000 are destined only for Japan, while the rest will be distributed on the international market.

The price, we anticipate it immediately, is not negligible. But after all we are talking about a laptop embellished with quality materials: the upper cover is made of carbon fiber with interwoven textures. We find a retro logo – like the one sported by the first Thinkpad released on October 5, 1992 – which makes clear the limited edition nature of this computer. The package is made of recycled material and we also find the writing 30th Anniversary Edition printed on silk. In short, a product for connoisseurs.

The data sheet is top of the range: the display is a 14-inch 4K oled, while the processor is a 12th generation Intel Core i7 accompanied by 32GB of ram and a 1TB SSD. Being a productivity-oriented computer, the graphics card – an Iris Xe from Intel – is not particularly suitable for gaming.

The price in Italy starts from 2599 euros. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 – 30th Anniversary Edition is available exclusively on Lenovo’s official website and in the Lenovo Space.
