The Apple Watch Series 8 no longer have secrets? A substantial leak reveals the design of the next generation of smartwatches, including the color options in which it will be available. Recall that the new wearables will be presented in September, during the same launch event as the iPhone 14.
Apple is expected to present three different Apple Watch models, including the rumored new Apple Watch Pro – a wearable designed for extreme sports and with an extremely higher price than that of the base model.
And the new Apple Watch Pro would play an important role in the Cupertino strategy. According to the leaker ShimpApplePro , the Apple Watch Series 8 will not introduce big changes compared to the Series 7. On the contrary, the Pro model will have an extremely distinctive design and different from that of the regular series. Apple does not intend to overturn the design of the Apple Watch Series 8 precisely to avoid detracting from the new, more expensive model.
The form factor of the Apple Watch Series 8 will therefore be almost identical to that already seen on the seventh generation. Nonetheless, Apple will at least partially change the manufacturing process of smartwatches: it will use a much stronger glue, in order to make the wearable’s case more resistant.
Apple will also keep the dimensions of the device unchanged, which will continue to be available in 41 and 45mm versions . Different story for the Pro model, which will be slightly larger.
As for the signature colors of this generation, the Apple Watch 8 will be available in Midnight , Galaxy and (PRODUCT) RED colors . Models with stainless steel cases will be available in silver, graphite and gold.
