Microsoft Edge is preparing for a major update. A few days ago Microsoft’s browser was updated to version 10 0, which, among other things, also introduces an extremely easy-to-use VPN.

The new feature is called Edge Secure Network and is completely free. Edge isn’t the only browser to offer a built-in VPN , this feature has long been offered by several competitors, such as Opera and Firefox.

The ‘Edge Secure Network’ VPN is managed in collaboration with CloudFlare and guarantees up to 1GB of monthly data traffic per month.

The VPN is already available on all PCs that have downloaded Microsoft Edge version 100, the latest in chronological order. In addition to the VPN, the update introduced an important graphic redesign, with a softer and more harmonious language, Mica Materia l. The new interface for the moment is available exclusively for Edge Canary users, the program that allows you to receive a preview of some of the browser’s news.

All other users will have to wait a few more weeks. Those who already have the Canary version of Edge will still have to manually activate the new interface by fiddling with the browser settings.
