The latest Kremlin statement said Russia needed to clarify the precise boundaries of the two Ukrainian regions it plans to annex, but whose forces have not yet claimed full control.

Kremlin spokesman Peskov made the following statements in his statement;

‘Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics are recognized by Russia in 2014. As for the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, I have to explain this, I cannot answer this question at the moment’
