As is well known, the war has recently hit Ukraine due to the Russian invasions, and while the conflict unfortunately goes on, waiting for news on when everything can be stopped Google has recently commented on the situation.
As Business Insider reports , the company’s European division has contacted Kiev employees struggling with the country’s dire situation, asking them to barricade themselves safely and restrict all movement.
The giant obviously also has employees in Ukraine, since it is a company that operates all over the world, and which has also established offices in the country. Although at the moment it is not clear how many people are talking about, the LinkedIn pages , as GizChina reports , indicate the presence of 200 full-time employees in the country .
The team therefore thought about the health and safety of employees first of all, as in reality it has already found itself doing in similar situations that could endanger the lives of employees, as was the case for example with Covid.
According to what we know, it appears that offices in Ukraine may soon be shut down, among other things, should the Russian attack scale up.
