Grocery store fires Arctic Monkeys

The members of the world-famous British rock band Arctic Monkeys, who gave a concert in Istanbul on August 9 and 10, experienced an interesting event in Asmalımescit.

According to the news of TV100; After the concerts, the band members Jamie Cook and Nick O’malley, who stayed in Istanbul for a while, went to the venue called Corridor the previous evening. When the team members, passing by the grocery store next to the place, put the alcohol bottles on the ground and chatted for a while, things got mixed up. Reacting, the owner of the grocery store first took the bottles and threw them in the trash, and when the musicians responded, he began to shout and swear in English.

The angry shopkeeper, who fired the band members from the grocery store, gave the answer “It doesn’t matter” to those who said “They are world famous singers”. Shocked by their dismissal from the grocery store, Cook and O’malley first entered the Corridor, then left and mingled with the crowd of Istiklal Street.
