Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland closed the door to Russian tourists. The transfer of Istanbul to the Russians in their journey to the West became even more critical.

With a few exceptions, the transportation of Russian citizens to Europe by road from the western borders as Tourists Was Closed. Three Baltic states Estonia , Lithuania, Latvia and Poland banned entry to Russian citizens even if they have a Schengen visa from 19 September 2022 due to the Ukraine war. Four countries’ ban on entry to Russians left Finland as the only way out to the West. However, the Finnish government does not easily give visas to Russians.
