Spotify recently announced the ” Blend ” feature, which allows you to create a joint playlist with any of your friends. With Blend, songs listened to by two different people were gathered in a single playlist, and these lists were updated according to certain periods. Spotify has now announced that it has released a new personalized playlist called ” Friends Mix “.
To use the Friends Mix list, you need to have three different Blend lists that you have created with at least three friends. Spotify creates an algorithm based on these lists. If you have three different Blend lists, you should be able to access the “Friends Mix” list prepared for you in the “Made For You” section of Spotify.
However, this feature is currently only available on iOS devices and the desktop app. In other words, Android users or those who use Spotify on the web may not encounter such a list even if they meet all the conditions.
If you want to create a Blend list with more friends and view your “Friends Mix” list, first of all, you need to type “Blend” in the search tab in Spotify, then tap “Invite” to select a friend you want to Blend with. When your friend accepts the invitation, Spotify creates a collaborative Blend playlist of recommended songs that reflect your and your friend’s music preferences and tastes. When you create three of this list, your Friends Mix list is prepared automatically.
According to the information shared by Spotify , the Friends Mix list is automatically updated every day. There is no information about when the application will be activated for Android.
