Live sharing on Google Meet: Users can spend time together on Spotify, YouTube and Kahoot!

In fact, we have seen this new feature of Google Meet before in Apple and Meta products. Users can watch TV+, TikTok, Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max, NBA, Twitch, TikTok, MasterClass, ESPN+, Paramount+, Pluto TV, Apple Fitness+ and Apple Music content together via Apple Shareplay.

How does the co-watch and listen feature work? 

To use the watch and listen feature together, press the three dots during the video call and press the Events option. You can choose the application you want from the add-ons section. Meet will direct you to the app of your choice. For users who want to listen to Spotify together, let’s say that the feature is only available to Spotify Premium customers. 

The feature, which was released in the Duo app in the past weeks, will begin to be visible in Meet as Duo transforms into Meet. It is worth noting that the update in question will continue throughout this month.
