It Looks Like Resident Evil 4 Remake Will Release To PS4

Capcom shared details about Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake at the Tokyo Game Show 2022 event.

Resident Evil, one of Capcom’s cult horror series, has been climbing the steps since 1996. Especially Resident Evil 4 is one of the productions that keeps the survival horror genre alive, it is solid and is one of the most popular games in the series.

The Resident Evil 4 Remake version, which was shown at the State of Play event held in the past months and came to new generation consoles , will also be released on the PS4 console with the announcement published in TGS 2022.

What will we see about Resident Evil 4 Remake?

During the Tokyo Game Show 2022 broadcast, Capcom gave a few details about the remake in development, noting that more will be revealed at the Resident Evil Showcase in October.

Although it was already said in the first announcement that it would only be released for next-generation consoles, the publisher announced that PS4 was also added as a launch platform.

The remake version, which aims to preserve its essence while offering a modernized gameplay; It will take its place in digital markets on March 24, 2023 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series and PC platforms.

On the other hand, Capcom also showed new images about its Winters’ Expansion DLC, which it announced for Village in the past months. The expansion pack primarily introduces third-person camera gameplay throughout the game, while introducing new animations and a Mercenaries mode.

The most important content stands out as the story chapters called Shadows of Rose, which takes place 16 years after the time period of the main story. The additional story follows Rose’s journey into the mind of Megamycete.
