Oman merchant ship lost in Yemen

A merchant ship belonging to Oman with 4 crew members was lost off Yemen’s Socotra Island.

Raid Mohammad Al-Juraibi, Deputy Governor of Socotra, said in a statement that Oman ‘s ship 485, which departed from the port of Nishtun in Al-Mahra city of Yemen , was lost 60 kilometers off Socotra Island as a result of the failure of its engine, and communication with its 4 crew was cut off. Deputy Governor Raid Mohammad Al-Juraibi called for a search and rescue effort to find the sailors.
