During a dedicated live, the Blizzard developers unveiled more details on the content available at launch for Overwatch 2 , the new version of the famous hero shooter, which we remember will be made available in free-to-play format starting next October.
First, Blizzard has confirmed that Overwatch 2 will have a season -based structure . Each season will last 9 weeks and will be accompanied by the regular addition of new heroes, modes, maps and other content. Season 1 of Overwatch 2 will include 3 new heroes, including Sojourn, the Queen of the Junker and another character not yet revealed, 6 new maps, the Push mode, the Pass Battle which includes more than 30 new skins and other customization items for characters.
Season 2 of Overwatch 2, on the other hand, will start on December 6 and will include a new Tank-class hero, a new map, over 30 new skins and a new Battle Pass. During Season 3 , new heroes, maps, modes, over 100 skins and PvE modes will arrive , scheduled for 2023 .
We remind you that Overwatch 2 will be available starting October 4, 2022 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC.
