PlayStation’s PC Launcher Might Be Coming Soon

Thanks to the files in the PC version of Marvel’s Spider Man Remastered, we may have received the signals of the future of the PlayStation Launcher.

Sony is giving more weight to the PC platform every day. For years, we can finally play games exclusive to PlayStation consoles with higher graphics and mod support. However, it seems that PlayStation’s journey to PC will not be limited to games only.

A “director of product management” job posting, all about PC, was posted on Sony’s official website last month . This job posting signaled that a PC version of PSN or a different platform with the same function would be launched in the near future.

Today, we got some information from the files of the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. There are 2 expressions in the game files; one is “PSNAccountLinked”  and the other is “PSNLinkingEntitlements” . The meaning of these expressions is entirely on account binding. Just like Rockstar Games’ PC Launcher, even if we download the game from Steam, Rockstar Games Launcher is also installed on our computer.

Based on this, we can say that this feature will probably apply to the games brought to the PC by PlayStation in the near future.
