Netflix’s $6.99 ad-supported model will be active from November 1

Disney+ was also working on a similar subscription model, and its price was announced as $ 7.99. Netflix seems to aim to have more users by keeping the price lower than Disney+.

Launched for the first time in 12 markets: Turkey not yet

The ad-supported model will be launched in 12 markets for the first time. On November 1st, Canadian and Mexican subscribers will be the first to try the new plan. It will then be rolled out to the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Brazil on November 3 . When it launches on November 10, Spain will be the last country to experience the cheaper tier. In other words, it is not yet clear when this plan will come to our country and how it will be charged in Turkish Lira. 

Netflix announced today that while it’s still too early, they’re pleased with the interest shown by both consumers and the advertising community, and they couldn’t be more excited for the future. The company also stated that they hope to launch in more countries over time as they learn from and improve the experience. 

Let’s not forget that some content may be ad -free in Netflix’s ad-supported subscription model , and the company will remove the download feature in this plan .
