Microsoft has announced the arrival of a series of adaptive accessories,  designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities. Presented during the Microsoft Ability Summit, the new set of accessories was designed to take advantage of new input systems thus making games and apps practically accessible to anyone.

These new devices have been created by the Microsoft Inclusive Tec Lab in collaboration with the community made up of users with disabilities to meet the needs of those who cannot use the more traditional tools such as pads, keyboards and mice.

The peculiar elements of the set are the Adaptive Mouse , the Adaptive Button  and the Adaptive Hub:  the mouse can be adapted according to your needs to accommodate different handles or adapt to specific configurations. Each adaptive button, on the other hand, can transform into a large D-pad or joystick controller based on the custom attack. Finally, the hub can wirelessly connect up to four buttons at a time, while also connecting up to three other devices via Bluetooth or USB-C.

Microsoft therefore continues on its path towards greater inclusiveness. Already last year, the company released its special Surface Adaptive Kit , designed to make its devices easier to use through a set of tactile tools.
