Resident Evil 4 Remake is now in the final stages of development. This was revealed by Yoshiaki Hirabayashi of Capcom during an interview granted to the microphones of Famitsu, adding that the team is working hard to provide more information about the game.

We are working hard to bring you more information about Resident Evil 4 in preparation for its release on March 24,” Hirabyashi said. “Game development is in the final sprint to bring the team together and make it even better. Please, just have a little more patience.

Obviously, we cannot be sure that the title will not be delayed until the game enters the Gold phase , i.e. in the publication phase, but according to Hirabayashi, a postponement at this point would be very unlikely. Let’s assume, therefore, that the news on Resident Evil 4 Remake will not be long in coming and that we will have the opportunity to see the title more closely again very soon.

Among the most anticipated games of 2023, Resident Evil 4 Remake will allow us to relive the Leon S. Kennedy adventure in a completely new guise with completely renewed graphics, gameplay and content. Although the title has some variations, Capcom stressed that the remake aims to rejuvenate only the mechanics, always remaining faithful to the original material.

For the uninitiated, the story of Resident Evil 4 takes place six years after the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 which Leon S. Kennedy  survived. Having become an agent under the orders of the President of the United States, Leon is sent to a Spanish village to rescue Ashley, the president’s daughter, who has been kidnapped by a mysterious group.

Before leaving you, we remind you that Resident Evil 4 will be available starting  March 24, 2023  on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S and PC. The game will also be released on  PS4. This version can be upgraded to  the PS5 version at  no extra cost.
