Afsheen Gul, 13, from Pakistan, has never been able to go to school or play with her friends. Because Gül’s neck was bent 90 degrees when her sister accidentally dropped her when she was only 10 months old.
Despite years of treatment attempts, it remained so. The young girl’s life changed with two operations she had in New Delhi, the capital city of neighboring India. Agreeing to operate on Gul free of charge , Dr. Rajagopalan Krishnan restored health to his patient. Gul, who has been incarcerated at home until now, is able to eat and talk on her own 4 months after the Operation .
