Tesla Model S causes three victims, authorities investigate Full Self-Driving
Full self-driving of a Tesla model S may have recently caused three fatalities, with authorities currently investigating the matter.
A new very serious accident has reopened the investigation regarding Tesla’s Full Self-Driving technology , which is once again being questioned by federal authorities due to the danger of the whole. Specifically, we are talking about the software designed to allow vehicles to drive themselves, which however – given its still embryonic state of development – requires constant support from drivers in driving their cars.
As is well known, even while you are using the automatic program, it is necessary to keep your hands on the steering wheel and manage every movement of your cars, which could calculate some variables incorrectly and in fact create serious damage to say the least. This time we are talking about an accident that caused the death of 3 workers and led to 3 additional workers to be injured by a Tesla Model S , with the latter being fortunately hospitalized due to some treatments, not yet immediately in critical condition.
It should be emphasized right away that it is not yet clear whether the Tesla in question led to the accident autonomously, using with Full Self-Driving, with software that may not have been active at the moment, and with the fault which therefore would be to be found in another source. It must therefore be said that at the moment it is in fact a simple investigation, and that Elon Musk ‘s company was not actually accused of the accident due to the use of the driving software.
