Media: iPhone 15 will receive a USB-C connector, the remaining iPad will be updated before the end of the year

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman spoke about Apple’s plans to switch to a USB-C connector in its devices, which will soon become a standard in the European Union.

According to the journalist, Apple will switch to USB-C with the release of the iPhone 15 line in the fall of 2023. The budget iPad will receive an updated model with a connector before the end of this year.

Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad gadgets will be updated simultaneously with the release of new Macs and other things, which, by the way, Gourmet is waiting for in 2023. As for AirPods, they will be upgraded to USB-C by 2024.

Also, a Bloomberg reporter said that in the foreseeable future, Apple will completely abandon the physical connectors on its devices in favor of induction charging.
