According to some rumors, a new Nintendo Direct would be coming this week and among the protagonists of the event there would also be the expected Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. The news of the alleged Nintendo Direct was spread by the journalist Nacho Requena of the Spanish magazine Manual and picked up by various international sites such as VGC.

According to Requena, the event will be held on June 28 and will be focused on third-party games, including some  highly anticipated ports  such as those of the Persona series. On the issue of the presence of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Felipe Lima, editor of the Brazilian site Universo Nintendo, also spoke on Twitter, who said he was not very confident about the arrival of a Direct scheduled this week because the Kyoto house would hardly choose to obscure the rumored Mario + Rabbids gameplay reveal apparently scheduled for Wednesday 29 June.

At the moment, there are no confirmations on the arrival of a new Nintendo Direct or the release of a gameplay video for Sparks of Hope. To find out more, we just have to wait for official news from Nintendo. Before leaving, we remind you that Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope does not yet have a release date and that it will be available by 2022.
