The death toll from the American raids on Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor has risen to 9

Al-Marsad: Iranian militias are redeploying in their areas of influence in Deir ez-Zor.

 

Soldiers of the American forces were wounded to varying degrees, as a result of the fall of shells, originating from Iranian militia positions , on the base of the Koniko gas field in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

On the other hand, 3 members of the Iranian militia were killed by targeting by the “international coalition” of a rocket-launching vehicle that was stationed in the vicinity of the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, to bombard the US bases within the “SDF” areas, and the targeting came 4 hours after the bombing of the “Koniko” gas field base. .

After midnight, the coalition forces also bombed Iranian militia positions in the Al-Mayadin area, but no information was received about additional casualties. Thus, the death toll of Iranian militias has risen to 9 in less than 24 hours.

 

The Iranian militia areas in the west of the Euphrates witnessed a security alert and repositioning in Al-Mayadin and its countryside, Al-Bukamal, Al-Qureya and the western banks of the Euphrates, after a day of mutual shelling and escalation in the region.

Yesterday evening, the Syrian Observatory indicated that two missiles fell on the vicinity of the international coalition base in the Konico gas field in Deir Ezzor countryside, originating from the areas of influence of the Iranian-backed militias in Hatla in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Subsequently, the coalition forces targeted the source of the shells, with rocket-propelled grenades as well, while coalition warplanes were flying in the air.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had monitored, in the early morning hours, yesterday, Wednesday, explosions in the city of Deir ez-Zor, as a result of air strikes from American planes, targeting Ayyash warehouses and a camp for Iranian militias in Deir ez-Zor.

According to the sources, at four o’clock in the morning, the planes launched more than 3 air strikes with high-explosive missiles, which resulted in the destruction of the Ayyash warehouses and the Sa’iqa camp, which the Afghan Fatemiyoun militia takes as its center, amid information about the killing of 6 guards of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, and the wounded. In the ranks of the militias, ambulances rushed to the targeted site to transport the wounded and evacuate the dead.
